What were you grateful for this week?
Traveling with friends on the weekends.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
No communication.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I stayed late and cleaned the kitchen for the family.

Tell us about your week!
This week had a lot of ups and downs. There hasn’t been a lot of communication with my family so it has been hard to try and plan my days. A lot of times they would tell me they needed me at a time and then none of them would be home at all that day and I would just sit at home…It gets kind of awkward at times because I don’t want to barge in on any of their activities but I was under the impression that I was supposed to be with them during the week. So that was pretty hard to deal with this week.

The good part was a group of 5 of us went to Venice and it was so much fun. We had the best time ever just roaming around. We went on a gondola tour and the gondolier was really cool. I asked him if he would sing for us and he said that the only song he would sing for us was “meet me halfway” by the Black Eyed Peas. We all sang it together and it was so much fun just singing out loud on the canals in Venice. We went to a really nice hostel and it was nice having AC for one of the first times that I’ve been here. We went to a couple of islands the next day and they were super cute and it was fun to take the ferries between islands.
