Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
No idea. My host Mom went the extra mile and got me some allergy meds for my bug bites.

Tell us about your week!
This week I met up with some other girls in the program. We went exploring in Rome and ate amazing food. One of the girls took us to her favorite taco place. I have to admit it was nice taking a break from all the pizza and pasta.

I also was able to do some exploring on my own. There is a statue I love called The Boxer. I looked up the museum that houses it and went to check it out. Because I was there on a weekday, the museum was almost completely empty. I could walk from room to room admiring the artwork without anyone else around. It felt like a private tour!

My host family moved to their summer house near the sea. We are only a 5 minute walk to the beach. I get to spend all day on the beach watching P play with her friends. When we aren’t on the beach, P and I play card games and soccer. P loves card tricks and she’s been teaching me her favorites. I need to learn some new ones so I can impress her.

My host family has lots of great suggestions for places I should visit. I am planning on spending one of my weekends off in Capri. I’m told it’s a beautiful place and I can’t wait to go!
