Tell us about your week!
My week was rather simple this time around. My host sister was home for Christmas break (her last week before getting back, she didn’t like to talk about it haha) so I spent a lot of time with her. This week definitely tested me in some instances. But I learned to let go and remember that I’m in Italy, living abroad — amazing! Thankfully, I FaceTimed with my family and friends a lot this week. I miss them all so much and honestly can’t wait to see them all. Even more though, I saw my cats and I’ve nevertheless been more proud to admit that I’m a cat lady than this moment because I miss my cats SO MUCH. Although I did get to ring in the new year with my host family, and that was a lot of fun. Getting to see other traditions and eating other food.

Other than my week, this weekend I went in a small day trip to Trento. The word for that city is quaint for sure. Small, and quiet. I went in the first Sunday of the month which meant free museums! I got to see the castle of Trento, and the science museum! To be honest I’m very glad they were free becaus I can’t imagine myself paying otherwise haha. I also went on the last day that the Christmas markets were up, thankfully so because I found a great gift there. I hope this next week is full of happiness and peace.
