What were you grateful for this week?Beautiful beaches!!

What was the most challenging part of this week?Getting the kids to listen when the parents were gone.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.I was reading with the little girl who was having a hard time focusing. We got up and I ran laps to help her get the wiggles out and the family loved the idea and uses it now.

Tell us about your week! It was really nice getting to know this family! The parents are very kind. I love the children as well! I have been busy riding my bike 20-30 miles per day while the kids are at school and hitting beautiful beaches! Itโ€™s been an adventure. The kids ask me almost every day to draw pictures for them, so I draw Barbies or their funny little ยซย LOLย ยป dolls often. They donโ€™t have a TV in the house so we are always outside or playing with board games or toys. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am very happy to be with them! One thing I love is the fresh food! We have had piste (tomato sauce dish that is so good), fresh fish, muscles, some different rice salads, and traditional Mallorcan pastries! They eat on a different schedule too, with lunch around 2 and dinner around 9. I prefer it that way actually.

Excited for what is ahead. I have a lot of time in the morning before they get home so I hope to be able to ride my bike to other cities and explore more. All of the friends of the family like to talk to me because they want to improve their English, so in big groups I am always chatting with someone. Another surprise was the language. They speak Catalan (Mallorcan) and only Spanish as needed usually!
