What was the most challenging part of this week?
It was my mom’s birthday and I was missing home!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I travelled to Riccione this week for a family vacation! I am excited to make these memories with them. 

Tell us about your week! 
This week went really fast! I spent the week at home at the pool with my host family and we rode bikes into town one day. 

 

On Friday we took a train to Riccione. It is super nice here and everyone is friendly. It is fun to come be a part of an Italian vacation. We are staying on a hotel by the beach and spend the day at the pool and beach. It has been a lot of fun. 

 

I am grateful for my host family, they are so incredibly generous and I am so thankful that they invited me along. It has been fun to make these memories with the kids and we have had so much fun. We came with a few other family friends so it has been a nice stay! The food here is so good too. There is so much fruit and seafood. I love it all. I will be sad to leave. 

 

Riccione is a town I had never heard of but there is so much to do and so many visitors here. It has been a good week and I am excited to spend the rest of the week here in Riccione! I was able to rent a bike at one point this week and ride 12.6 miles up a mountain. At the top there was a little town with shops and bars that overlooked the ocean. It was such a good view and I was grateful I rode up there even though it was tough!
