What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
My little girl was really sick. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Since my little girl was sick, I spent extra time and attention on her to make her feel as comfortable as possible. We are really starting to bond, she is the sweetest! 

Tell us about your week! 
This past weekend I traveled to Lake Como with my two friends K and N2. It was an absolute blast! We visited Lecco, Bellagio, and Varenna. Lake Como was the most beautiful place I have ever seen! 

 

On Saturday we walked around and got familiar with the towns. On Sunday we took a ferry to Bellagio and it was extraordinary. Although it was a cold day, the sun was shining and the water was glistening. It was magical to see the landscape of como from the center of the lake. We ate lunch at this cute little place in Bellagio, and of course got a hot chocolate before getting back on the ferry. The hot chocolate here is literally a cup of thick melted chocolate that I indulge on way too much. 

 

The city of Bellagio is super clean and is the picture perfect representation of Italy. It is definitely my favorite place we have visited yet. All the buildings are different colors and sizes, the town is covered with lush greenery and everything is cobble stone. It has been so fun meeting people here and traveling with other au pairs. It makes the whole experience less expensive, safer, and more fun 🙂 I can’t wait to travel again next weekend!
