What were you grateful for this week?
Rosa! The house nanny. She and I had to rearrange our schedules and Rosa came and helped me a lot.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
The baby was sick and still isn’t used to me so he cried a lot in the mornings.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
As stated, the baby (age 3) was sick all last week. I cancelled/rearranged plans and stayed home in the mornings every day last week before the nanny came so that the parents could resume their usual work schedule. I also stayed late to put the kids to bed a few nights because the parents had plans with friends.

Tell us about your week!
The weeks seem so full of so many things that it is hard to remember all that I did throughout the week! I saw a new part of Milan, the Navigli area which was beautiful! It is crazy how big the city is and how much I have to see while I am here.

The kids are warming up to me a bit which is exciting. They still ignore me a lot of the time because they don’t speak English haha but I think they realize I’m there to be their friend more than to just be another adult in the house.

I visited Ireland this weekend which was absolutely beautiful!! Dublin was a bumpin’ city with a lot of history and a lot of pubs ha. We then drove to the other side of the country; only a two and a half hour drive. Seeing the countryside was amazing. The Cliffs of Moher were one of the coolest things I’ve seen, especially because they are right on the coast! It was also funny how any city we were in, there was a castle to visit if we wanted to. Everybody in Ireland was really nice. It was refreshing to have welcoming people who also spoke English ha. It really made me motivated to study Italian more in the mornings because I would like to at least be able to have some communication with the locals and in restaurants. Looking forward to everything I have planned for these next two months.
