What were you grateful for this week?
To be able to read with the boys at night and see improvement in their English.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Trying to get them to go to bed when they don’t want to!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
This is not above and beyond but with one of the kids staying home for being sick, I tried to be there for him and help him get better/be comfortable as often as I could.

Tell us about your week!

We have now hit the point of my last month and the consequences of that has really started to dawn on me. I still have lots I want to see and do and so little time. I got to spend some time walking around without taking photos. I walked through a park and decided where I am going to have a picnic this week. I walked through the city to a burger place I wanted to try and found my way home not taking the normal road, proud of myself. I went out for just a quick walk across the river and back to a new bookstore that I LOVE.

I did little expeditions and found big important things, things I did not expect to find. These smaller things are quickly becoming the things that I will remember from the trip and take home with me. Reading to the boys, the magic tricks, the big laughs at silly videos, plenty of things will not be the same for me after this and I cannot wait to see what else will change by the end of this trip. One thing I know for sure is that I have changed and to that I say: Mission Accomplished. I set out to see differently and experience something else and here I am, not yet done but so happy I am this far.
