Tell us about your week!
On Tuesday this week, my host family took me and my travel buddy, F, to see beautiful Barolo. We had really great food and wine, which I enjoyed very much, and then we walked up and down the charming roads to see all the breathtaking views of the vineyards. It was so incredible! So thankful for my family here and their abundant kindness.

I spent most of the other days this week playing with the boys and going in to town (Bra). I’ve been running into a lot of the same ladies I met when I first got here, who all go to the University by my house. A lot of them come from different places around the world, with different perspectives on so many things here, which has just made it really cool to talk to them and learn from the many viewpoints. It makes me wish I was staying longer so I could make more relationships and get more involved here.

This weekend my travel buddy and I met up with her cousin in Rome and had an absolutely amazing time!

We couldn’t believe it was actually real, we kept saying we felt like we were at Epcot in Disney, haha. Such a cool place with so many things so see and do. The whole weekend was full of laughs and sweet memories that will last forever; from the crazy sights to the great food and awesome history — it was a load of adventures for the books!
