Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
For Tutti i Santi I helped my host mother clean and place flowers on her family member’s grave sights. 

Tell us about your week! 
It was a pretty average week for me in Canale. However, on Thursday and Friday I was able to spend the day with my host family. On Thursday the family and I celebrated Tutti I Santi, or All Saint’s Day. We took a mini-trip to Grana where my host mother grew up. We visited my host mother’s parents and grandparents graves. I am happy that I was able to tag along because it was a nice experience. 

On Friday I took a bus down to Florence to meet up with M2. We had dinner and gelato that night and took a short stroll around Florence’s streets. The next morning we took the train to Pisa. We did a self-guided tour through the streets which ended at the Pisa. It was cool to see the leaning tower of Pisa in person, it really does lean, more than I thought it would. We bought tickets to the top of the tower which in itself was an adventure. Once inside the tower you can definitely tell that it leans. We were able to see Pisa from the top of the tower which was beautiful. We were also able to go inside of the Duomo.

That night we meet up with C and S. Which always fun to do. We spent the night taking pictures, eating gelato, and strolling the streets of Florence. 🙂
