  • When you board public transit, just tap your card on the reader and tap off when you disembark

Car

Trains

  • V-Line trains connect Melbourne with regional hubs in Victoria, Queensland Rail covers Queensland
  • TransWA crisscrosses through Western Australia
  • Don’t wait to board your train until the last minute
  • Be prepared to send your bags through a security scanner
  • Keep your ticket handy
  • Ask staff member to tell you when your station is coming up

Ferry

Note: REMEMBER to stamp your ticket BEFORE you board a train or bus, otherwise you will get a huge fine (a staff member will check tickets for validation during the train ride)
