This week has been both challenging and fun. It started out very rainy and stormy, which made for a new challenge I have yet to face. Trying to figure out the safest way to walk both kids home from school in the rain was very difficult. I was able to work out a plan with my host mom though.

My family left Friday afternoon for the entire weekend. So on Saturday I went to Orvieto, which was about an hour train ride. It was absolutely beautiful. It was very hot and tiring but the views were stunning. I can definitely see myself going back there again if I have time to. After a long, long day of traveling and walking, I was so tired Saturday night. After battling a cold also. Sunday, S and M and I met up to go to Tivoli. Unfortunately it was raining and we didn’t really research the area. Most attractions were closed because of the train and because it was Sunday. That definitely taught us we need to plan better. It’s hard trying to fit everything into three months; there is so much to see and do, I just want to do it all. We are hopefully going to be making some plans this week for the upcoming weekends.
