What were you grateful this week?

Grateful to see my family again this week! It’s been a lot of fun, but definitely ready to see my fam!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Most challenging part of this week is realizing that K2 AND I WON’T SEE EACH OTHER PRETTY MUCH EVERYDAY ANYMORE ????

Wow moment this week was giving my host family a goodbye gift from me!

Tell us about your week!
It’s my last week living in Rome and it’s bittersweet. I’m going to miss my cute host family, but I’m definitely ready to see my family again!

 

K2 and I have made the most out of this last bit, making sure that we get our fill of gelato, pizza, pasta, and pastries.

 

On Thursday, we had our own little Thanksgiving, and got to have a sleepover too! We both got to FaceTime our families which was also so much fun!

 

As for the rest of this week, I’ve been packing (holy cow, so much stuff), doing some last minute shopping for Christmas presents and souvineers, and I even placed an order for those Nutella bombes that YOU BET I’m bringing back to my family (pro tip: TUPPERWARES).

 

Oh, and also visiting the stationary shop for the 10485th time in 3 months. K2 can tell you I talk about it just about every day. I think I could do with one of everything in that shop. It’s my jam.

 

Anywho, it’s been an adventure here in Roma, and one that I’m sure glad I went on. This world is such a beautiful place, and I’m grateful to have gotten the chance to experience living here.
