What were you grateful for this week?
Grateful that I get to travel around with my best friend!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?

Figuring out all the train stations.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week
I spent a lot of time reading with my 5 year old! She loves reading English books with me so I spent extra time with her and read a lot this past week.

Tell us about your week!

My best friend and I who is here with me traveled to Rome this past weekend. It was amazing! We stayed two nights, and saw the most beautiful historical buildings and architecture. Some of my favorites were the Spanish steps, Colosseum, and Vatican! It’s incredible to stand and experience the rich history that Rome has to offer. We also ate gelato twice a day…the gelato is unreal! Nutella is my favorite flavor.

We found it surprisingly easy to navigate through Rome, we walked everywhere (which helped burn off all the gelato) and got to see a large portion of Rome in just two days.

A lot of people speak English in Rome, which helped with ordering food and asking questions regarding restaurants or navigation. We also went to this cute restaurant on Sunday night and treated ourselves to the best pasta we’ve ever had! It was quite the experience.

The train stations were a little hard for us to figure out at first, but it is all one beautiful learning experience! We now feel like we have a much better understanding of how the train stations run now that we’ve traveled by oursleves for the first time. Can’t wait to travel again next weekend!
