What were you grateful for this week?
Swiss chocolate.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Switzerland trains can be very confusing to figure out.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I read a bedtime story to the youngest little boy every night.

Tell us about your week!
This week was a holiday so K, S and I had a long weekend in Switzerland. I don’t know how Switzerland isn’t the #1 travel destination in the world. It was jaw-dropping. The tranquility of the Swiss people was so refreshing after being in Italy for the past two months. The people were so kind and helpful. I had dropped a glove Sunday morning at a bus stop on our way to Interlaken and later that night I retraced my steps to find that somebody had picked up my glove and set it on a bench for me.

The scenery of this country is unreal. We stopped ourselves several times questioning reality, wondering if it is actually, in fact, real. I’m so grateful for this rare opportunity to travel the world and visit all the places I never thought I would see.

This weekend in Switzerland was an expensive trip that stressed me out when I thought about all the money I was spending but I’ve learned that the experiences I’m going through and the memories I’ve made are priceless. It’s just money and I’m having the time of my life.

This experience has made life much more valuable to me. There is so much out there to see and the adventure never ends. I’m also noticing how much more I appreciate all the things I used to take for granted. This experience is making me so grateful for the life I have and everyone in it.

UP NEXT: PRAGUE!!!
