One night at dinner the child I look after started to teach me what everything was in italian and it was really cool.

Tell us about your week!
This week on Wednesday I met up with F in Turin and we went to a palace museum. It was really cool and the painted ceilings were so beautiful. We also found a really good gelato place. It was such a good day. Meeting up during the week made it go by so fast! 

This weekend I went to Naples and Pompeii with four of the other girls in the program. The train ride was really long but definitely worth it. The streets in Naples were so cute and the pizza was AMAZING. I guess I should have expected that though since it’s the birth place of pizza. We waited in line for it for almost an hour!

Pompeii was sooo cool. Honestly it’s probably my favorite place I have been to so far. It was crazy to see the history so perfectly preserved and to be able to walk on the same streets those people did over 2000 years ago. We also got some of the best pomegranate slushies while we were there ha!

We had to sneak in and out of our hotel because we had it booked for only four of us but five of us stayed. We had a lot of good laughs while we were coming up with plans to get in and out without them noticing we had an extra girl.
