This week started off slow for me, which was unusual. I was regrouping after such a fun and amazing (but busy) trip to Venice and planning for upcoming weekends trips. I spent a lot of time catching up on sleep. On Thursday I met up with a new Traveler and we walked around Rome, got gelato which is a daily need now.

This weekend I was planning on going to Naples alone but mentioned it in our group chats and a group of us ended up going! With old and new friends! I booked a water biking tour along the coast and it was beautiful! Definitely something I recommend to do while in Naples, we got to see jellyfish, caves, beautiful homes, and private beaches. Of course we ate pizza all day everyday.

The second day we toured a catacomb climbed some intense stairs and visited a cemetery. The cemetery was crazy! All of us were expecting a land of grass with tombstones instead what we got was a huge cave full of skulls, bones, and mummies. Each section was a different reasoning for how the people died but all were unidentified bones. It was beautiful, which is weird to say about a cemetery.

We then visited a castle with a beautiful view of the water. I was so surprised by Naples! I had no idea what it was like but I assumed it was all beaches and water, it is not haha. I booked this trip by typing in a letter into my traveling transportation apps and chose the cheapest ticket and ended up being so much fun!
