What were you grateful for this week?
Saturday and friends.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
Almost losing my parking slip.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I packed my host mom’s lunch this week.

Tell us about your week!
This week was great. The Ekka was in town which is basically like a giant fair with rides and food and all that. So the kids actually get a day off of school and most places were closed on Wednesday for Ekka Holiday. It was kinda cool. We didn’t go to the Ekka since the kids went to a fair a few weeks ago, instead we went to see a movie. We saw The Secret Life of Pets 2 and it was very funny. I’m going to be honest I did cry only because I miss my doggies at home.

This Friday I drove to get some food by myself. I’ve been watching some throwback shows since Australia has this streaming service called Stan so I’ve been watching Hannah Montana haha. Saturday I woke up to go to a 5K with Natalie but I couldn’t find a parking garage in time and missed the start. So I did my own walk/jog while I waited for her to finish. Then we met up with Rachel her other friend and we got some breakfast and decided to go to a farmers market. As we are leaving I said I’ll drive us since I’m in a parking garage. (The prices can get very pricey.) As we are leaving I pay my slip and then put it in my pocket. We pull up to the machine to put it in and I can’t find it. We are freaking out since if you lose a ticket it’s $60 to get a new one to leave and I wasn’t about to pay that. We did find it. I was sitting on it.

We went to the farmers’ market and I bought some scrunchies and some earrings that were both made by hand. We listened to some local music and are some strawberries. After that I met up with Anna and her friends (Anna is my host mom’s niece) we had a fun little house party and I had a great time. They invited me to a music festival in December. I’m having a lot of fun and getting the roads down.
