What were you grateful for this week?
My last week in France it was a great week!

What was the most challenging part of this week?
I don’t think I had a challenging part to my week!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
My host mom has been super sick all week and couldn’t go to work so I made sure to help out around the house even more than I usually do, doing dishes and laundry so she didn’t have to worry about it!

Tell us about your week!
This week was a really awesome week it was my last week here in France! Sunday we had a picnic together as a family and we went fishing which was so fun!

The boys wanted to go fishing again on Monday so we went fishing again together which was so fun to sit around this quiet lake, talk, hangout and listen to music.

On Tuesday the kids and I went biking! We biked to the downtown hossegor! It was a nice bike ride it’s beautiful. Downtown is starting to get crazy because of all the tourists here for surfing season but it was still fun. We also played lots of games today card games board games any game you can think of we played it.

Wednesday was my day off and the kids had been asking to go to this taco place the entire time I’ve been here so we went to O tacos all together which was fun to have the kids try it for the first time. It is pretty funny because when you think about what a taco is that is not what you get from this taco shop but hey! They call it tacos so we will go with it. We also went to the mall and walked around but ended up shopping. I bought a brand new outfit which is so cute and my host mom said I officially look like a French girl!

The weather this week has been interesting it’s been teasing us with rain and shine but Thursday we finally had a sunn day! My host mom really wasn’t feeling well today because she’s been so sick so I packed the boys up and went to the beach! It was so fun and relaxing and nice to go to the beach one last time all together.

Friday my host mom again wasn’t feeling well so we packed up and went to Atlantic park which is the water park here in hossegor. It was fun that day was overcast and windy so it was freezing both the water and while waiting for the rides but it still was fun to get out of the house and have our last time together.

Saturday and Sunday were both relaxing days just hanging out together before I leave.

I am headed out to Paris for the day and then back home in two days! I can’t believe I’ve been here for 7 weeks. Time has flown by. I’m forever grateful for this experience I’ve had!
