What were you grateful for this week?
My family at home.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Being exhausted and getting homesick.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I think my wow moment was staying home all of today and taking care of my host families little twin boys, the mom really needed help so I volunteered!

Tell us about your week!
Okay! So this week was pretty terrific! My host kids had Easter break so they were home all week! And I am with a “blended” family so I got to meet the step siblings to my host Dad. OMG they were so cute and sweet! I was already loving them within 10 minutes of playing with them!

But my host family made dinner every night, we had yummy salmon pasta, Mexican food, and always a glass of wine! So GOOD! I really don’t know how I’m going to go back to American food!?

On Thursday we went to Acquaworld! This really cool indoor pool and slide facility! It was so fun for the kids and I really got to know more about them this way! I also went with them shopping and to a cafe!

And then during the weekend K and I flew to PARIS! The most gorgeous city! The buildings and the architecture were out of this world! I have no words to describe how amazing it all was! We stayed in the cutest little Airbnb right next to all these pubs, gelato shops, wine bars, etc. we really got to dip our feet in the real culture of Paris!

We also met a really nice guy on the metro in Paris and he invited us to his friends house warming party, we met the funniest French people! They were so sweet to let us crash their party! Such a memorable weekend! Oh and I can’t forget about seeing the Eiffel Tower! Never in my life did I ever think I would be in Paris sitting in the grass looking up at this magnificent structure! Life made!!
