What were you grateful for this week?
I was grateful for nice weather.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
Getting enough sleep haha.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Me and my host family’s kid hung out a lot this week so the entire we week we did nice things for each other.

Tell us about your week!
I went to Bologna this weekend! I love seeing not super touristy cities and living it up like a true local haha. The past weekend was Easter break, so my host family’s daughter and I hung out the entire week which was super fun and super tiring haha but she’s so fun and funny.

Bologna was gorgeous!! The people were so kind and the food was amazing. The only downer was it poured rain my last day there but thankfully I was able to see the city in the sunshine too haha.

I’m so grateful to be here!! It’s crazy that I still have two more months, but I’m very happy about it too because I feel like I still haven’t seen everything I want to yet. There’s just so much culture and history and romance to see!! I love being here so much. It’s really feeling like home, I feel so comfortable here. It’s only been a month but it feels like I’ve been here for forever.

Anyways Bologna was awesome. At night there was this gorgeous sunset and all of the old buildings lit up in red from the sun and it was just something you couldn’t take your eyes off of. That might’ve been my favorite part. Not the actual sights I get to see, but those indescribable moments that when you explain to other people, they just won’t get it unless they were there. Those have been my favorite moments.
