MY MOM!

Tell us about your week! 
This was the most exciting week! My mom is here visiting! I’m so excited to have her here in Sydney with me, I missed her so much! My host family has been very generous and is letting my mom stay with us but I’m done watching over C now so it’s kind of a crowded house with the new au pair, myself, my mom, and my host family! I’m so thankful they are letting us stay here though because accomodation is crazy expensive in Sydney! 

 

The first day my mom was here I took her to the Opera House and out to lunch at Coogee Pavilion, she loved it of course! The second day we did the Coogee to Bondi coast walk and spent time at Bondi beach visiting the Iceburgs pool and we got to watch the sunset over the ocean turning into the full moon over the ocean and it was breathtaking! 

 

The third day I took my mom to Manly and we spent time at the beach and the market and we got matching ocean wave rings! 

 

The next day my host dad’s father took us out on his boat and we spent the day on the water at palm beach, it was amazing!! Australia is just such a beautiful country! The day after that my mom and I took a tour to the Blue Mountains! It was so fun and we were able to go on this tram/cable car thing that took us over a huge canyon and down a giant hill and it was kind of scary but just magnificent!! Definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity! 

 

I’m so sad to be going home in a few days but excited to get back to my friends and family! It has been such an amazing last week and I am so grateful for this experience!!
