What were you grateful for this week?
I am grateful for the chance to travel with my best friend this week.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
The most challenging thing this week was having to pay $150 euros to check a bag that should have been free with easy jet.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Something extra I did for my host family this week was went to the grocery store when their housekeeper didn’t have time to get more breakfast items.

Tell us about your week!
This week was my favorite week so far! My host family’s kids didn’t have school so they all went to the mountains to ski, this left me with a whole week to travel.

My boyfriend decided to come visit so we got to go to four different cities! It was so fun to show him around Milan for 2 days. We then headed to the border of France on a Flixbus (definitely recommend). We stayed in an airbnb but the family was living there too so it was really awkward. Anyway we took a 40 min tram ride to Geneva, Switzerland and explored that city. Highlights of Switzerland were the lake, the fondue wow, chocolate, and the shopping. Since Geneva is known for watches, we bought ourselves matching swiss made watches!

Next we took a plane to Venice. Side note I now hate Easy Jet, their flights are so cheap but a “cabin bag” doesn’t mean carry on it means personal item. Sadly we had to pay a lot to bring our bags but we arrived in Venice and soon forgot about it. Venice was by far my favorite city I have EVER been to. It’s so magical all the little streets and literally billions of bridges connecting the city together. There aren’t any cars but gondolas are way more fun so I’m not complaining.
