What were you grateful for this week?
The opportunity to live in, seriously, such an amazing place!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Just getting settled in and getting into a routine!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I watched the boys late so my host parents could go on a date!

Tell us about your week!
This week was honestly so amazing! I finally think I’ve got in a routine and have figured out the boys schedule and all of that good stuff! I also have gotten comfortable with the bus system which is amazing because I can go a little farther than I normally would, before I have to go get the boys from school.

I met up with S2 almost everyday this week. We got to go do all the tourist things that are necessary when in Rome. We walked 11 miles on Saturday. Pretty crazy, but so so awesome. We got to see so many beautiful things! It blows my mind that in 11 miles you can see so many incredible buildings and get a taste of the Roman culture.

Sunday we ended up going back to the main part in Rome and seeing the Spanish steps and spending too much money at European shops haha.

When I got home on Sunday night, the boys all seemed somewhat excited to see me too. So that is always a good feeling 😉 This week I loved every day and every minute of everyday, challenging or not. Everything that happened this last week is just an addition to this whole Italian experience and I can tell these next few months will be nothing less than amazing! We have some trips in the works right now that I am looking forward to. All in all, I’m just super grateful to be here and to be experiencing Italy in the best way possible.
