What were you grateful for this week?
New friends ????
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Having so many famous people in the same city as me for fashion week and not meeting any of them.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I’ve really tried helping the nanny out with as much as I can. I’ve been helping set and take down the dinner table and making sure the kids say please and thank you for everything she does.
Tell us about your week!
This week has been something i’ve dreamed about my whole life and probably would have never happened if it were not for Rome Abroad. I have always wanted to be in Milan for fashion week. It was everything and more than I expected it to be!!
There have been models and designers walking the streets all week. One night on my way home, I walked past a glass window and saw a room full of models getting their hair and makeup done as they got ready to walk the runway. It was just incredible!!
I was able to meet K and S for a couple days. They were so much fun and we’re already planning so many trips together. I’m so excited. We call our group the Gucci Gang because we talked each other into spoiling ourselves and buying a few things from Gucci. No regrets.
I got to visit the one and only Starbucks in Italy that has been open for less than a month. It’s a reserve so it was just massive. There was literally a line around the block just to get inside. It was well worth the wait. After espressos and cappuccinos for the last few weeks, it was nice to have a flavored iced coffee.
I visited a few churches this week that were so incredible. The murals on the walls and stained glass windows were so beautiful. I could sit in them all day.
