This week was great! I was able to go to Eat Street, Southbank, and The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! Friday night was so fun at Eat Street! It’s basically a bunch of food vendors and live music and there are some booths where you can get fun little knickknacks as well! We had the most delicious desert ever, it was pretty much donut holes covered in white chocolate and salted caramel sauce topped with a scoop of ice cream! It was heavenly!
Then on Saturday night we went to the collective market at southbank and that was really fun to walk around!
On Sunday morning we went to the Koala Sanctuary and it was amazing! We were the last people in line to make it through the 9:30 session to hold a koala! I was very happy that we made it because the later sessions were so busy! If you have a bucket list, make sure that you put holding a koala on it! It’s a once in a lifetime experience! So cool! I also got to feed a kangaroo so that was fun! Did you know Koalas can sleep up to 18 hours a day? Also, eucalyptus leaves are pretty much poisonous but the koalas’ saliva produces something that makes it safe for them to eat! This is my last week in Brisbane and I’m super excited to be living in Sydney!!
