What were you grateful for this week?
being able to meet complete strangers and become super close friends in less than a day.

What was the most challenging part of this week?

Breaking out of my shell with new people.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I definitely try to clean and tidy up the house as much as I can from time to time.

Tell us about your week!
This week my host parents went to Paris for the week so  I got the week off. On Thursday I took a train from Ravenna to Rome, where I spent two nights at a hostel. The second I arrive to the hostel I met a girl from Chicago and instantly we became friends. We explored Rome together on both Thursday and Friday and less than a day after meeting her I felt like I had known her forever. I was lucky enough to visit the Trevi fountain as well as the Colosseum. The Trevi fountain had a special place in my heart and so I visited the fountain about four times during my entire stay in Rome.

At night we would go to the bar that was part of the hostel where we were able to meet kids from all around the world . On Friday night I was able to meet up with one of the Rome Abroad girls and we went out for dinner and also explored the nightlife in Rome.

Saturday morning myself and two other Rome Abroad girls traveled together to Vienna, Austria. There we explored the beautiful city and visited their beautiful cafés. Throughout the weekend we were able to take a dip in the pool, get lost in the amazing museums, jam out to Mamma Mia, and simply just have an amazing time with each other.
