What were you grateful for this week?
Sunshine. Italy in the sun is better than anything.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
This is always the hardest section to answer. I guess just knowing I don’t have the money or luggage space to buy all the cute clothes I’ve found. It’s a bummer.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Monkey was home sick all week so we had lots of time to make kool-aid and cookies.

And this morning I got up early to make french toast because no one likes Mondays, but french toast makes them bearable.

Tell us about your week!
Like I said Monkey was home sick all week which was nice because throughout my whole stay here we haven’t spent as much time together as we had this week so we really got to spend a lot of time and have some fun making things together and just hanging out.

One of the most exciting things that I got to do this week was we drove to a nearby city and saw their medieval Castle. It was pretty small compared to other ones I have toured in Torino but it was kind of cool to listen to all the history of the people that had lived there and owned that area it was very pretty and instead of having real statues, it had some optical illusions statues painted on the ceiling which was almost cooler than them being real.

Another little interesting part that was unique to this castle was it was really easy to see the little doors that were created for the servants. The royalty didn’t want them to be seen walking through the middle of the halls and such so they had secret doors created to link them from room to room. It’s kind of crazy thinking that that was something that was really important to the rich people that lived in these places. Crazy thinking im starting my last full week!
