What were you you grateful for this week?

I was so so grateful to meet cute A! She is such a sweet girl! 🙂  

What was difficult or challenging about this week?

[Sometimes] the Family will go without speaking English, so obviously I am quiet because I don’t know what they are talking about. Then they ask what’s wrong or why don’t I speak & I tell them, I don’t know what They are saying because I don’t speak Italian… And can’t be part of the conversation. But then they still didn’t talk to me!!!! Anyways its ok!

This week was the absolute best!!!! On Tuesday morning I headed to Rome. There I met up with fellow Rome Abroad traveler A! She is so cute & sweet! By far my most favorite girl I met up with this far! 

 

She acted as my personal tour guide for the day!! She took me to the Trevi Fountain & Colosseum! Which both I cried at because of the beauty! After eating a delicious lunch together, & of course gelato we departed. But later that night we met up again for a concert! Not just any concert but my absolute favorite singing in the whole world…Nahko!!! We sat front & center, 5 ft away from him!!! Even though she didn’t know the artist she joined in, sang and danced with me!! It was an absolute blast!!! 

 

After the concert we got to meet them & chat with them! & of course got pictures!! 🙂 it was truly the best day of my life! I cannot thank A enough! I love her so much! Haha just after one day! My second day in Rome I went inside the colosseum & Roman forum! I met a cute older couple from Californa and ended up spending the day with them! They became my adopted parents for the day! The were so kind to me and even offered to pay for my ticket inside the colosseum (which is expensive)!! I didn’t let them, but it was so kind for them to offer! I honestly had the time of my life in Rome! It will be a 4th of July I will never ever forget! 

 

Now I am I’m Tuscany on vacation with my host family! Staying in a beach house!!! We play in the sea all day! It’s amazing!! I feel so lucky and blessed that they wanted to bring me along!! 🙂
