What were you grateful for this week?
That there are amazing girls in this program that gave me a wonderful birthday weekend!
What was the most challenging part of this week?
The schedule has been a little weird with school getting close to being done so it was kinda hard to find that time for me this week.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
My little girl had a very hard time when her mom left for a weekend business trip so I comforted her and we played her favorite games and watched a movie together.
Tell us about your week!
This week me and my little girl went on a bike ride into the city. It was about 2 miles and we only had one accident (I totally crashed my bike, always wear helmets). We went to the library and picked out books we could each read and we grabbed Narnia to watch! After the library, we went to get some amazing gelato and biked back home when it was like a million degrees. When we got home we were so tired and hot we just sat playing card games and drinking cold water for hours.
Also this week two friends of my little girl came over and we all played together. Next week they invited us to go to the swimming pool with them and we are all very excited! My host mom left for the weekend for work so we got to spend time with Nonna and Nonno. The cousins also came over and we had a little birthday party for me the day before my birthday.
This weekend me and 3 other girls from the Rome Abroad program went to Carrara to celebrate my 21st birthday! We had so much fun exploring the town and really enjoying the beach and sun! We had so much fun and it was definitely a weekend to remember! We plan on all traveling together not only in Italy but when we get back to the states as well!
