What were you grateful for this week?
Meeting new people.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
Finding things to do since I didn’t have [my host family’s son].

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Cooking dinner to help although I didn’t need to.

Tell us about your week!
This week went by pretty fast. On weeks I don’t have [my host family’s son] I always try to plan something everyday so I don’t get bored. A few times this week I went running in south bank to get some exercise and other days I met up with different au pairs to get some coffee or just a little lunch.

On Sunday, I ran a 5k for International Women’s Day & for breast cancer which was pretty fun and such a cool experience to have. After that, I ended up signing up for a Spartan Race that I plan to do in April with a few other au pairs.

Over the weekend, I went to lunch, got drinks and went for a boat ride around south bank with some more au pairs.

Life in Australia just gets better and better by the day. I really don’t know how I’m going to leave this place in just 3 shorts months because to me, it’s home. I have a trip to Sydney, Australia next weekend and I’m way excited to be able to explore another part of Australia that is so popular. I’ve also planned a few more trips to other big places in Australia with different au pairs from different cultures too. Overall, I’m loving my life here in Australia and all of the new people I’ve met.
