What were you grateful for this week?
I was grateful for the Italian school that let me observe one of their English classes so that I could complete the requirement for one of my online classes. 

 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? 
The most difficult part of this week was having to skip my Italian class a couple times in order to do some projects for my online classes. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 
This week I helped my Italian family plan a party they hosted at their apartment. 

Tell us about your week! 
This week I was able to go out to lunch and get sushi with my American friend and get to know her better. We had some good laughs trying to find a place that wasn’t too busy. Once we found the place we were gonna eat at we ended up ordering a ton of food since it was a buffet. 

 

I went to my Italian class like usual and had a good time learning and getting to know the other students. The thing I like about my Italian school is that there are people from all over the world that you get to meet. 

 

This past weekend I did some more observation hours at the high school I found here in Milan and had fun with the students. I spent more time than I would like indoors this past weekend due to the fact that I had to do a really big stressful group project for one of my Spanish online classes. I met a new Italian friend and we have gone out a few times now which is always fun. 

 

I think the best way to learn Italian is to spend time with natives. I am looking forward to completing my online classes so that I can focus more on my experience here in Italy and be able to enjoy myself more. The weather is finally getting better so that makes a huge difference on my mood everyday.
