Tell us about your week!
This week was really good! I did get a little homesick and down in the dumps for a few days. It takes a lot to realize when you need to be taking care of yourself a bit better, and take the actions necessary to do that. But that’s what this week was, it was about taking care of myself and loving where I am.
My friend and I decided that we want to write a book as well, so I’ve been working on that and it’s been going really well!

This weekend I traveled to Vienna, Austria and it was amazing. The food was amazing right away. In Vienna they have the cutest tradition of getting coffee and cake in the afternoon, so we did that as often as we could! The cake was absolutely incredible, I wish I could keep eating it forever.

While in Vienna we went to the Belvedere Museum, and I was thoroughly touched by the experience! Back home I work at an art gallery and I study art history and museum studies, so one of the things I like to do while I’m in museums is really study the layout and informative materials they include in the galleries and how it brings it all together. Well, at the Belvedere I was blown away. The curator did such an amazing job choosing which pieces to display together and in which rooms as you walk through the museum. It flowed so well, and there was amazing information about lesser known artists that had such a big impact on bigger artists. There was also a really cute theme of humanity throughout the museum so I was very touched. If this were a review on that museum it would be a 1000/10. It wasn’t just a collection, it was an art piece itself.

Another wonderful week of self discovery, self love, patience, and art appreciation.
