What were you grateful for this week? This week I am grateful for always having a travel buddy!! I am grateful by having someone to come tag along and share the craziness of traveling around Italy!! 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? 

The most difficult thing about this week was navigating around Venice!! It was like a maze!! So fun and so beautiful but very challenging ????

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 

A wow moment from the week was when I offered to take one of the children and his friend to the beach so my host mom and the daughter could go wind surfing together. My host mom was having a difficult time coming up with a plan so I offered to take my personal time off to help her out and she was really appreciative.

Tell us about your week!

My week was amazing!! I now go to the beach almost everyday and read for the allotted time I have off when the children are busy or something or other and I went to Venice! It was amazing!! Truly an unforgettable week!! 

I enjoyed exploring Venice and meeting new people! I also enjoyed getting some time off over the weekend to recharge for the upcoming week! Something I learned is that no matter the situation, be kind!! It is hot and sometimes people get agitated but always be kind! We represent Rome Abroad and it is important to be kind always when out and about or with your host family!!
