What were you grateful for this week?
This week I was grateful that I was able to travel for the whole entire week!

What was the most challenging part of this week?
This week all the traveling and planning made me pretty tired and saying bye to my favorite guy (now fiancé ????) was really hard!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
This week I actually wasn’t with my host family at all so I don’t have any “wow moments” with them.

Tell us about your week!
This week was absolutely amazing! Tanner was here for the whole week and we saw a lot of awesome places! We started our week by flying into Zürich and took a train to Zermatt. That town in like a dream! It reminded me of park city Utah but on steroids! The view of the Matterhorn from the town is so cool, there are not cars, all the buildings are old and made of wood, and there are tons of little shops everywhere. We bought some bomb soup out of a window and the guy was dressed like he was from a fairy tale. We wandered the town and found an ice rink which tanner loved cause he loves hockey. We took the ski lift up to an amazing view of the Matterhorn and the whole ride was so pretty. Coming down I got a bloody nose from the altitude but some nice people in our same compartment gave me some tissues, haha I would have been screwed if they weren’t there! We bought awesome souvenirs and ate cheese fondue for dinner in the oldest restaurant in town.

The next day we took a scenic train to chur where we stayed in a place with an awesome view of the city and the next morning we took the bernina express which is another scenic train that took us to Tirano in Italy. The ride was insanely pretty and we met the cutest little old lady on it. The rest of our day was filled with traveling to Paris. We hadn’t even booked a place to stay until we got to Paris hahaha oops.

Paris we kind of took it easy and didn’t rush around to see everything. We spent a lot of time at the Eiffel Tower and went up to the top. It was so pretty. We bought some art, went to the famous lock bridge, got some macaroons, and saw the arc de triomphe. It was a week for the books and was so much fun!
