Tell us about your week!
My first week here was already SO amazing! I already have a special place in my heart for my host family, they are always making sure that I am comfortable but and have everything I need. I love the kids I teach English to! I went to dinner with my host parents to the most beautiful and nicest restaurant I had ever been to. Where they served 1st and 2nd plates, dessert, drinks, and a coffee at the end.
OMG the Gelato is to die for here! K and I went to Milan for our weekend trip, we saw the Duomo Cathedral. Jaw dropping! The most insane building I had ever seen in my life! The structure was breathtaking! It was such a cool experience to be there on Easter Day! After that we went to a delicious cafe, every cafe or restaurant you go to the food is always made fresh that day, makes your mouth water! I don’t know how Italians aren’t ginormous here! I cry at every building I see I swear! I feel like I’m in a dream, I just can’t believe I am actually here in Italy!
This next weekend we are going to Paris, it’s been a dream of mine to see the Eiffel Tower! I don’t know if I’m going to be able to go back to the U.S. after this. 1 week and I’m already so attached to the people and city!
