Saying goodbye to my kids!

I drew pictures with my little girl for her family.

Tell us about your week!
This was my last weekend spent in Italy. K and I decided to go back to some of our favorite spots, which was really special and nice. We visited one of our FAVORITE cities, Bergamo! We went back to our favorite restaurant there and had the most amazing pasta (for the second time) it was a great day.

On Sunday we went into Milan to do some last minute shopping. After we collected all the gifts we needed for our family and friends, we took the train back to Gallarate.

I had some of the best pizza of my life in Milan…the best part was the fact that it was only 2 euros! I am going to miss the food so much! Everything is so fresh and delicious, and can be extremely affordable.

It is a bittersweet feeling as I prepare to go home tomorrow. Although I am ready to go back to America and get back in my daily routine, this experience has been nothing short of incredible. I have learned so much about myself, challenged myself, and been put out of my comfort zone which has enabled me to grow and mature in ways I would’ve never have if I didn’t do this experience. Italy will always have a special place in my heart!!!
