What were you grateful for this week?
Sunshine and trains!

What was the most challenging part of this week?
Being homesick.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
It was my host family’s anniversary and so I offered to babysit for them!

Tell us about your week!
This week was super warm and the sun was shining which is so nice because it has been raining every week I’ve been here pretty much. So now the weather is warming up quite a bit and I got s tan this week! I didn’t travel anywhere crazy which was weird because it’s the first weekend I’ve really had to relax and not spend a lot of money which is always nice to splurge on food or clothes because duh I’m in Milan!

I got to to travel just an hour north to Stressa with a friend which was so much fun and absolutely beautiful I would say I liked it more than Lake Como! And we just walked around the lake town and later by the water enjoying pizza of course! Then I got to meet her amazing host family which was fun to see someone else’s experience and be in the culture of another family!

We of course, ate more pizza but I’m not complaining it was such a good day! Then Sunday I was able to go to free museums because every first Sunday of the month al the museums are free in Europe! It was an amazing weekend and I looking forward to my last month here!

Time is going by so fast and I still feel like everything isn’t real here! Of course I had some moments of being homesick but this experience is so amazing and I wouldn’t change these opportunities for anything.
