What were you grateful for this week?
People who genuinely care.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Being away from home.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Cleaned up a little extra around the house.

Tell us about your week!

This week was a hard week for me.
The weather was beaaautifullll, I visited the streets of Trastavere and the beach a couple times.

The more I’m around the boys, the more I see their little personalities come out. It’s fun to watch how they act and the things they say when they speak and understand English. I love every bit of getting to know them better! And it’s awesome to see them blossoming and learning, understanding English is the first step, and they’re progressing! They are becoming better everyday!

The family left for an Easter vacation in the hillside this weekend. They left me with cheek kisses and a chocolate Roman Easter egg for Easter morning.

Saturday, it was very stormy. It rained and rained and when it slowed down, I remembered my favorite thing to do when it rains in Rome: the Pantheon. I took a trip there to watch the magic happen from the top of the dome. The rain dancing down, and disappearing into the Roman drain below.

Easter morning was beautiful and sunny! I woke up and broke into my egg, finding a surprise Disney pin inside! I am glad I have not bought any chocolate for my return home, because this egg will be plenty!

I visited one of my favorite places: the Villa Borghese Gardens and went inside a couple of museos located there. It was a relaxed and beautiful Sunday!
