Meeting new friends all over Italy!

What was the most challenging part of this week?
Feeling homesick.

I watched the kids at night so the parents could go see a movie and have a date night!
 

Tell us about your week! 
This week went by so fast, on Monday I was coming down from my London weekend. I was suggested a place to visit by a friend back home so N, a fellow Rome Abroad traveler and I went to this place called The Ice Club which was a bar made out of ice! It was so cool (pun intended) we walked around and got to experience gelato and the city of Rome at night. 

 

The weather has been on and off all week and on Wednesday it was pouring rain, but I loved it! I walked around the city did a little shopping and met up with some friends! I went to a flea market and met the friendliest family from Tennessee and got to talking to them for almost an hour! The weekend was the most fun! 

 

A group of girls and I planned a weekend trip to venice. It was incredible meeting new travelers and getting to experience Venice all together. We all got along so well and I’m so grateful for the incredible friends I have made! And to hear of their experiences outside of Rome and all over Italy. We ate good food, drank great wine, and tried our hardest for a Gondola ride. But with the weather being rainy and cold all weekend they were closed. Which just means we all have to go back for one!
