What were you grateful for this week?
Beautiful scenery.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
This week was honestly great! The only thing frustrating about this week was not being able to find a place where I could get my nails done haha!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
My teenagers are finishing up their school year and they are busy with homework and tests. I did most of their chores for them so that we could spend more time together in the evenings 🙂

Tell us about your week!
I went out and explored the old fortress in my city this week. I spent the morning strolling the old cobblestone streets, ate a yummy lunch and of course got a gelato or two 😉

This past weekend though was a dream. B and I went down to Naples and the Amalfi Coast for a long weekend. We were both a little nervous to go to Naples because people talk about how sketchy it can be compared to other cities in Italy, but we ended up wishing we had more time there to explore!! We of course hit up Pompeii!

We also took a ferry out to Capri and we thought we had died and gone to heaven. The island is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, and the shops are to die for! We enjoyed an afternoon on the island and then took another ferry to Sorrento where we spent a night. I had no idea that lemons were such a big deal down south, but they have lemon everything! I bought some fun lemon soap and lemon chocolate to take home to my family and friends.

The next day we took a bus tour to Positano and Amalfi. Positano was my favortie coast city by far. It definitely lives up to the hype. Along the way we also got to stop and check out the oldest ceramic factory on the coast! How cool is that?! We also randomly ran into an art exhibit that ended up being one of our favorite things. The photographer is Italian and takes pictures of people going about their daily lives in Italy. We both bought a photo to take home with us because we loved his work so much! I could have spent another week down south! We had sooo much fun!!
