Tell us about your week! 

this was my last week here which is crazy!! 3 months has flown by! we had a normal week with the family and then for our weekend adventures H and I did say trips to bergamo and milan! bergamo is one of our favorite places and has amazing food and milan is beautiful and so close so we thought we would double dip on a few favorites for our last weekend! 

 

It’s crazy that my time is up here, when I first got here 3 months felt like a long time but it has gone by so quickly!!!! I have done and seen so much since i’ve been here. 

 

H and I have visited 16 different cities within Italy and have traveled to 3 countries during our time here. We have learned about different cultures and seen amazing sites, eaten incredible food, met interesting people, the list goes on! We have fit in so many amazing experiences these last 3 months and have made great memories together. 

 

I feel really lucky to have loved my host family so much and to have felt so welcomed and a part of their family. They have been incredible and are some of the sweetest people i’ve ever met, I will miss them!! 

 

This experience has been exactly what I expected in some ways but also different as well, it was harder to adjust than I thought it would be and there were different challenges thrown at us along the way but it’s been INCREDIBLE. traveling really does teach you a lot and helps you to appreciate this beautiful world we live in and all the different kinds of people in it! I’m so grateful for this experience!
