Tell us about your week!
This week was really great. Aside from the issues I have had in the home, everything else has been perfect. But even the issues we had last week were not really a thing this week. And when I left, [my host mom] invited me to come back next summer and stay with them for 2 or 3 months. Probably will not take her up on that offer, but it is nice knowing we are leaving on good terms.
I was not able to go to Villasimius on Saturday, but then I ran into a friend of my friends at church and he invited me to go with his family. It worked out perfect and I got to see this amazingly beautiful place. I have also been able to not get burned at all since I have been here. SPF 50+ is my new best friend! I have also been able to make new friends while here really quickly, which has been so fun. I am usually pretty shy and it takes me a while to get established. Which makes me sad that I am no longer there. But I am excited to be back in Rome and that everyone wins in this situation. And I get to see some of the people I love back in Rome. I honesty think this whole situation has been a huge blessing and is perfect for me.
