Tell us about your week! 
This week was so wonderful! My host family was out of town for a few days and I was able to spend 3 days in Bra, visiting M4. It was so wonderful to meet her Italian family and I was warmly welcomed by them. The parents took M4 and me around their beautiful town. It was so much fun to see other lesser known parts of Italy that I’ve never heard of beforehand! Her host family was so sweet and I loved getting to discover the town that she’s living in. 

 

This weekend M4 and I were able to meet up with my cousin in Rome and we explored all over! Rome was incredible! It was so awesome to be able to see these magnificent buildings that I’ve studied and read about for so many years. I’m still shocked that the Colosseum is actually that big! Seeing these places up close is unreal! 

 

On Sunday morning we happened to be strolling by St.Peters square exactly at noon when the Pope came out to speak. We couldn’t have timed it better! It was a week full of adventuring and plenty of gelato! So thankful for this time of exploring Italy with my awesome travel buddies! Looking forward to this week and making plans for my next excursion!
