What were you grateful for this week?  IRELAND. I’ve always dreamed of going there.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
The most challenging part of this week was when I left a bag of presents on the train. Whoops. Still sad about that, but oh well.

A “wow” moment this week was taking out the trash.

Tell us about your week!
This week was amazing. I’m going to talk about the weekend, because this was a trip that K2 and I have been excited about from the beginning! We decided to go to Ireland and rent a castle. WHICH WE DID. (Pretty much, it was a really fancy house/mansion that I’m not sure how it wasn’t considered a castle) I’m not kidding when I say it was breathtaking. It was absolutely stunning inside. 

 

And one of the best parts was that the man living there literally just lived with all of the antiques. That may sound obvious, but like, he didn’t treat everything like you couldn’t touch it. As in, he still used the old stove, and he let us play the grand piano. 

 

The things in Annaghmore could all be in museums. But it’s amazing how they preserved the place! He told us that when his grandparents lived there, they had their own butlers/maids…so it really hadn’t been long since it was up and running. Anyhow, it was such a great trip to pretty much end our time here in Rome! I’ve got 8 more days left until I fly back home. And I’m determined to make them good ones.
