What were you grateful for this week?
I am grateful for my parents.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Nothing was very challenging for me since I had the week off.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I went to Barcelona this week so did not spend much time with the family, but I did leave some dinner for Diana before I left on my trip.

Tell us about your week!
I had a wonderful week! My parents were in Barcelona for a work conference and I was able to fly out and spend a few days with them in Barcelona. We were able to see so many sights and do so many different things. We saw all of Gaudi’s most famous works including the Sagrada Família and the Park Guell. We went shopping and also saw a few more of the houses that Gaudi designed. What an influencias architect he was! We also got to visit Andorra which is a very small country between Spain and France. It was beautiful! It sits right in the middle of the Pyrenees Mountains. It is also home to the longest alpine slide in the world. It was so fun riding it.

Another place we got to see was Monserrat. It is a monetary that is tucked away in a gorgeous mountain side outside of Barcelona. So far up in the mountain that you have to take a cable car to get to it. The view was unreal. I could not believe that it had been there for hundreds of years and that monks were able to somehow construct something so complex in such a hard to get place way back then. I could not even imagine how hard that would be even today with all of the technology we have.
