What was the most challenging part of this week? 
Most challenging part of this week is saying goodbye.

 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 
For [my host family’s son’s] birthday, I bought him gifts. I bought water balloons, candy, two LEGO sets, and a bow and arrow toy. I also took both of my boys to the local movie cinema.

Tell us about your week! 
Last week was [my host family’s son’s] birthday. I bought him a bunch of gifts, and the best part was watching his reaction when I gave it to him. He was very happy with them to say the least.

This week I was with the kids at the beach as usual. We also managed to go on the boat to go to Porto Ercole and other surrounding spots. The water was incredibly clear and light blue. We went snorkeling and saw the beautiful marine life. We all jumped off the boat and had so much fun. 

Tonight my host family took me out to dinner as a farewell goodbye. I expressed how grateful I was for everything they had done for me. It was really special. We got gelato afterwards and then went to the local fair. 

A couple days ago we went to Spiaggia Feniglia. At this beach they have this inflatable course where there are slides and things to climb on. It’s a sanctuary for kids. The kids and I went on this for 2 hours and it was so much fun! But now I am so sore! ???? 

One day we took the SUP boards to the coast where there are cliffs and jumped off them. We really get creative and have the best time. I have really got a dark tan while being here because I have spent everyday outside. This summer has been my favorite so far. I hope that I can visit this family again because they will always be a part of my heart as well as Italy. Also, very thankful for this program of course!
