What were you grateful for this week?
Gelato! Can’t get enough!

What was the most challenging part of this week?
I am so anxious to get home!

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
I bought a little present for [my host family’s son’s] 11th birthday!

Tell us about your week!
As I am nearing the end of my time hear in Italy I am getting more and more eager to get home! But I thoroughly have enjoyed my time here, even with the ups and downs. This weekend was more chill as P and I discovered the hidden gem, Turin! I have passed through Turin every weekend and am so glad I had the chance to explore it! We first week to the Egyptian museum which was really cool but I think overrated. It was a massive collection but after seeing so many Egyptian exhibits before it has become “been there, done that.”

We got amazing Grom gelato and sat in the piazza enjoying the weather. Turin has great shopping too! My favorite part of the weekend by far is the Mole Antonelliana! It is a landmark of Turin. They turned the inside into the National Cinema Museum which was the most amazing museum I have ever been to! Very interactive and laid out so well. We were able to take a elevator to the top on the building and see Turin birds eye view. So beautiful! I did end up buying another suitcase so I would be able to take my new clothes and souvenirs home. It is my last week with my host family! I will miss them!
