What were you grateful for this week?
I’m great full for Aunt Maria, whom I met in Rome she was honestly the sweetest caring person to me while I was not feeling well.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
I got sick while in Rome and it stopped me from doing things I wanted to.

I helped my host mom set up for her summer camp!

Tell us about your week!
Last week I got to spend in Rome! It was so much fun despite being sick. I had a really fun time with my host girl this week. We got to play charades which was new for her. I got to see so many amazing things in Rome and Vatican City was my favorite especially at night. I got to stay with their Aunt Maria who is one of the most amazing women I have met in my life. She was so kind to me and loved having me around. She showed me a side of Rome that I would not have experienced otherwise. 

 

Later on during the week we come up to Tirano Italy for my host mom’s summer camp and it is gorgeous!! And very relaxing compared to the craziness of Rome. We got to take a day trip to Switzerland to spend at the lake and it was amazing. I guess I’m the only one who is use to swimming in lake water because everyone else was only in the water for 5 minutes compared to my almost hour. The family we are staying with up here love having me around and love the interaction with someone from a different part of the world.
