What were you grateful for this week?Good food!

What was the most challenging part of this week?Car parks.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.I got flowers for the house!

Tell us about your week! Well this week on Sunday was Fathers’ Day so on Thursday we made chocolate-covered pretzels for the fathers. On Friday I went to the shops. So I went to KMart which is like our Target. They have target here but their target is underwhelming haha. But I got some moisturizer.

Then on Saturday I went to Southbank and hung out with [friends] and we walked around a little street market and I bought a bracelet that was handmade and locally made. We then went through some of the art museums in the city and it was really fun. I wish I would’ve taken some more pictures but I wanted to enjoy the art in the moment.

On Sunday my host mom’s parents were here and we went out for breakfast and then we had a late lunch and watched her brother play a gig at this restaurant and it was so fun! He plays the drums and does the backup vocals and his band mate sings and plays the guitar. It was so fun and the food was so good this week. I’m really starting to appreciate everything here in Brisbane and I feel like this is my home. I’m very comfortable here and I’m learning about myself more and more and it feels so good to be doing things on my own and I think this upcoming week I’d like to go to dinner by myself. It’s a dream here and I’m so excited for my upcoming trips.
